The spokesman said that AIP President Er. Rasheed while welcoming Rather in party fold appealed people across the state to join AIP so that the people of the state get a sincere, alternate and strong platform, which would represent their sentiments, sacrifices and aspirations in and outside assembly.

Er. Rasheed reiterated that resolution to  Kashmir dispute has no shortcut formulae except giving people on both the sides of LOC including Gilgit-Baltistan right to self-determination, said the spokesman.

The spokesman quoted Rather as saying that AIP is the only platform which sincerely on one hand talks about resolution to Kashmir dispute and on the other hand tries to resolve and highlight burning issues of a common man within the system to the best possible extent.
