Balochistan: Seven residents of Tump abducted from Hub

QUETTA: Pakistani security forces have arrested and disappeared seven residents of district Kech Turbat from Hub Balochistan while on their way to Karachi.

According to details, seven Baloch youth have been off-loaded from a passenger bus in Balochistan’s industrial city of Hub Chowki while on their way from Turbat’s Tump region to Karachi.

The abducted men have been named as Majeed son of Qadir Bakhsh, Aziz Baloch son of Taj Mohammad, Jabir Baloch son of Elahi Bakhsh, Shoaib Baloch son of Peer Mohammad, Sajid Baloch son of Nazir, Qadeer Baloch son of Moosa and Zahid Baloch son of Karim Bakhsh.

Sources informed Balochwarna News that the victims are residents of Dazen area of Tump from Balochistan’s district Kech who were going to Karachi when Pakistani forces abducted them.

The Pakistani security forces intercepted their passenger bus at a security forces check post in Hub Chowki where the personnel of Pakistan Intelligence agencies boarded the bus and arrested the above named seven men after checking their ID cards.

The whereabouts of victims remained unknown until the filing of this report.

It is pertinent to mention that Pakistan army, FC and intelligence agencies have intensified their offensive across Balochistan as Pakistan’s general elections get closer.

There have also been complaints from several regions of Balochistan that Pakistan forces are forcibly evicting people from their villages and native town, and locating them near military camps for the purpose of elections.
