Tarzova, 23 July: In the final of Wular Premiere League-2018 (WPL), Star Cricket Club Humhama defeated Bijbehara Sports Club by 60 runs
Batting first Star Cricket Club Humhama posted a score of 160 runs for the loss 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs, with Zahid Rasool scoring 35.
While chasing the target, Nazir Tiger wrecked havoc on Bijbehara Batting line as he dismissed 5 batsmen of Bijbehara Sports Club, besides taking 3 catches and running out one batsman.
Nazir Tiger was adjudged man of the match for his match winning bowling and fielding performance.
Winners of WPL-2018 were rewarded 2 Lac cash prize 2 and a trophy. Meanwhile, Runners up were awarded with 1 lac cash prize and trophy.
Man of the tournament, Zahid Dar, was rewarded with 40,000 rupees. Man of the match Nazir Tiger was rewarded with 15,000 rupees along with a trophy.
