Sopore police organizes PCPG meeting
Srinagar: In its endeavor to bridge the gap between police and public, Sopore police organized a PCPG meeting at Police Component Rafiaabad in which respectable citizens of Nadihal village participated. The meeting was chaired by SSP Sopore Javaid Iqbal JKPS.
A statement issued by police said that during the meeting, the participants raised some issues of public importance. The chairing officer assured them that issues pertaining to police will be redressed in shortest possible time and rest will be taken up with the concerned departments.
The focus of the meeting remained community policing and cooperative work to curb the social evils, said the statement.
SSP Sopore while speaking on the occasion emphasized on moral responsibilities on individual level and also described the role of police. He requested public to extend their co operation for maintenance of peace and tranquility in the area and also requested to co operate in eradication of social evils.
