DC Anantnag reviews progress of AEBAS registration, installation of BAS

ANANTNAG, JULY 23: Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag, Mohammad Younis Malik today reviewed Registration and installation of Aadhaar Enabled Biometric Attendance System (AEBAS) in all government and corporation offices of the district.

The Deputy Commissioner was informed that out of the 24000 employees of the district 14000 employees have been registered with AEBAS and 10000 rest employees’ registration is under progress with head of the departments and at district administration level (NIC, Anantnag).

The Deputy Commissioner emphasized upon the district officers to ensure the registration of all the employees under AEBAS and every department can register and enroll their employees and their parent department’s portal.

The Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag directed all the sectoral / Block level officers for registration of CPIS and preparing the list of all employees who are Aadhaar linked and also to submit the list of those employees yet not Aadhaar linked. He also directed that every sectoral/block level officer should ensure the installation of Aadhaar Enabled Biometric Attendance System (AEBAS).

The Deputy Commissioner also asked for installation of Biometric Attendance Machine (BAS) to ensure attendance of employees upto to block level who are supposed to mark their attendance and also of those who are providing services in the field. He also directed SE hydraulic, Exen PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Forest department, Principal Polytechnic Larkipora & Principal Degree College Women, Anantnag to ensure the registration of the employees on the web portal.

The meeting among others was attended by all district officers, Engineers & heads of the Corporation offices.
