Chairman LC visits injured at CHC Padum

KARGIL, JULY 22: Chairman, J&K Legislative Council, Haji Anayat Ali today visited Community Health Centre, Padum and inquired about the patients injured in a road accident at Lungnik Zanskar.

The Chairman directed the Hospital authorities to provide all possible help to the injured. He also prayed for early recovery of the injured persons.

He also took stock of the facilities available in the hospital besides inspecting various sections including casualty, Labour room, dispensary and X-ray room there.

Haji Anayat also inspected ongoing work of Operation Theatre and directed the concerned Executing Agency to speed up the pace of work and complete the same within the stipulated time-frame.

Interacting with the staff, the Chairman asked them to work with utmost dedication and deliver services promptly. He directed them to ensure cleanliness in and around the hospital and also wear uniform during their duty hours.

Responding to the demand for construction of Staff Quarters, the Chairman said the setting up of residential Quarter is under active consideration and the matter will be taken up with the concerned quarter for early sanction.

Earlier, the Chairman convened a meeting with the Executive Councilor LAHDC Kargil, Councilors and Tehsil Officers of Zanskar and reviewed developmental scenario of Zanskar sub division.

The meeting was attended by the Executive Councillor LAHDC Kargil, Stanzin Sonam, Councilr, Skalzang Wangyal, Councilor Phuntsong Tashi, SSP T Gyalpo, Chief Executive Officer Zanaskar Development Authority, Ghulam Mohi-din, SDM Zanaskar Rakesh Sharma, Tehsildar Zanaskar, Mohd Abas Wazir, President ZBA, President Muslim Association Zanaskar, Gonpa Association Zanaskar, President Mentse-Khang Zanaskar and other officers.
