Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary interacts with Ranji Trophy trial players, selectors

BANDIPORA, JULY 20: The District Development Commissioner Bandipora, Dr. Shahid Iqbal Choudhary today visited SK sports stadium, Bandipora and interacted with the selectors and the teams participating for JKCA Ranji Trial. As many as 80 players of the district are in the trial for selection to play in JK Ranji Trophy. The selection is being done under the supervision of chief selector Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA), Abdul Qayoom Bagoo and other selectors including Abid Salam, Aijaz Ahmad and Jahangir Malik

On the occasion the DDC reviewed the facilities being provided to the players and assured them every possible support from District Administration. He also assured for provision of sports gears and equipments to selected teams and sports persons.

The DDC directed for formulation of DPRs for indoor sports complex and sports hostel in the district.

On the occasion Chief Planning Officer, Ab. Majeed, President District Cricket Association Bandipora, Saleem Jahangir and large number of sportspersons were present.
