Free medical checkup camp for senior citizens held at Satwari

JAMMU, JULY 19:   Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu, in collaboration with Department of Ophthalmology Government Medical College, Jammu and ENT Department, SMGS Hospital, organized a free medical Eye and ENT checkup camp for senior citizens here at Satwari Chatha.

A large number of senior citizens from in and around the area were examined by Eye/ENT team of Doctors and Para Medicos. Around 58 cases were identified for further examination at Eye and ENT Departments of GMCH and SMGS Hospital.

Dr. Bias Dev, Asstt. Prof Ortho in GMCH addressed the Sr. Citizens especially and gave them very valuable tips to prevent backache and how best they can take care of their Ortho related daily problems.

Dr. Rajinder Thappa examined the Senior Citizens for their ailments and provided consultation.

The camp was organized under the overall supervision of Dinesh Gupta, Secretary, IRCS, Jammu Region.
