DDC Baramulla chairs public grievances redress camp at Boniyar

BARAMULLA, JULY 19: District Development Commissioner Baramulla Dr Nasir Ahmad Naqash today chaired a public grievance redressal camp at Boniyar Uri.

The camp was aimed to get the first-hand appraisal of public grievances and to redress them in a time bound manner.

Chief Education Officer Baramulla, Chief Medical Officer Baramulla, Tehsildar Boniyar, Divisional forest officers, Assistant Director FCS&CA, Executive Engineers and various other district and Sectoral officers besides a large number of people were present on the occasion.

On the occasion various civil society members and senior citizens highlighted the main issues confronting them and sought proper, effective and timely action of the administration in solving them. They demanded renovation of telecommunication facility in the area adding that the area remains aloof due to poor network connectivity. The people also demanded fire service and Sumo stand for Chandanwari. Meanwhile, they also sought macadamisation of Bimyaar road. Moreover they demanded concrete embankment for Hapat Khayee Nalla, and additional Ration quota for PHH Ration cards.

Meanwhile the DDC had a patient hearing of the grievances wherein he on spot issued directions to the concerned for their redressal. He stressed upon the officers to provide every basic facility to the people besides assuring them of disposing their grievances shortly. He reiterates the District administration’s commitment of providing every basic facility to the people. DDC said that government has launched various schemes and programmes for the people and they should come forward and take the benefits of the developmental programmes and schemes.
