But let they (legislators) be united as ‘if and when’ some government formation takes place, they will be part of it

Srinagar, Jul 17: Senior PDP leader and party’s Lok Sabha member, Muzaffar Hussain Beg Tuesday described the concerns voiced by party legislators as “genuine” and asked party president to take serious note of the same and act.

Talking to ‘Kashmir Images’ on phone, Beg said that party MLAs have raised some serious concerns and party president, Mehbooba Mufti, must take these concerns seriously and act accordingly.

He also added that the governance by PDP-BJP combine was not satisfactory and he, as a senior leader, has all along been voicing reservations about it.

“There were some serious governance issues and I, as a responsible leader of the party, tried to highlight the same time and again,” he told ‘Kashmir Images’.

Despite their dis-satisfaction with the party, Beg urged the party legislators to be united, and went on to pronounce that  if and when there is a government formation, PDP MLAs will be part of it.

Beg also expressed apprehensions about National Conference (NC) and Congress trying to poach on PDP legislators for their vested interests.

“Let me tell all our legislators that no government will be formed without PDP MLAs,” he said.
