KUPWARA, JULY 15: The Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara, Khalid Jahangir today convened a meeting of all sectoral and block officers of the district regarding guidelines issued for the Aadhaar Enabled Biometric Attendance System (AEBAS) of officers, officials in the departments.

The Deputy Commissioner informed the meeting about the guidelines for installation of AEBAS and said that every department can register and enroll their employees and their parent departments portal. July 17, 2018 has been fixed as the deadline for installation of AEBAS.

He directed all the sectoral/Block level officers for registration of CPIS and preparing the list of all employees who are Aadhaar linked and also to submit the list of those employees who have not Aadhaar linked. He also directed that every sectoral/block level officer should ensure the installation of AEBAS.

Each individual department can also get portal registered for itself by nominating an IT Person (Preferably District Officer himself or his nominated IT official having Aadhaar number) and register his organization on attendance portal by emailing the on-boarding Application form available on attendance portal duly attested and signed by the Head of the organization and send to web registrar email address at Helpdesk-attendance@gov.in.

Meanwhile, DC directed the concerned School Education department to ensure construction of washrooms in every school of the district and repair non-functional toilets as soon as possible. He directed all the officers to ensure transparency and punctuality in the offices.

DC also instructed officers to mobilise efforts sincerely towards achieving the targets under Transformation of Aspirational District Programme.

The meeting among others was attended by ADC, Handwara, ACR Kupwara, SDMs of Karnah, Lolab, CEO, Exens of R&B, PHE, Flood Control, Irrigation, PDD, AD Fire and Emergency, Tehsildars, BDOs and other officers.
