Govt forces launch searches in Kupwara
Srinagar, Jul 14: Government forces on Saturday launched a cordon and search operation (CASO) in Halmatpora forests of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Reports said that a joint team of Army’s 41RR and Special Operations Group (SOG) cordoned off Chek Fateh Khan forests in Halmatpora after “noticing suspicious movement”.
SSP Kupwara Shriram Ambarkar Dinkar confirmed that the forces launched a search operation in the woods, reported GNS news agency.
