Srinagar: Former military secretary, Indian Army, Lt Gen Syed Ata Hasnain has been appointed as the chancellor of Central University of Kashmir.
According to a notification issued by the registrar of the varsity, Lt Gen Hasnain has been appointed as the chancellor for five-year term.
The Lt General Has has served as GOC 19 Infantary Dagger Division and GoC 15 crops.
