Srinagar: Srinagar police has sought help of the general public in identifying a suspected person involved in scooty lifting case registered at Police Post Bemina.
On 6th of July 2018, one person Mohammad Shafi Bhat son of Noor-ud-din Bhat resident of MIG Colony sector 03 reported in Police Post Bemina that on 5th of July 2018 his blue color scooty bearing registration number JK01C-4613 has been stolen by some unknown person/persons which was parked outside his home. The complainant also provided CCTV footages and a photograph of a suspected person, a police spokesman said in a statement issued here.
In this regard a case FIR number 251/18 under section 379/RPC has been registered and investigation has been taken up.
“Anybody having any information regarding the suspect may kindly inform Police Post Bemina on 9596770561, 9596770884 or Police Control Room on 100,” added the spokesman.
