SRINAGAR, JULY 07: Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Dr Syed Abid Rasheed Shah, Saturday chaired a meeting reviewing the status of ongoing projects sanctioned under Prime Minister’s Development Programme (PMDP) and Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) in the district.

The meeting discussed various ongoing projects including those of the Power Development and Road & Buildings departments. Status of JKPCC projects including the Mini Maternity Centre at Zakura and the Multi Purpose Hall at Zadibal were also reviewed during the meeting. It was said that the later is almost complete and will be commissioned in due course.

Various ongoing drainage projects sanctioned under the GoI-sponsored AMRUT programme in the district were also reviewed during the meeting.

The DC directed for earliest possible completion of ongoing drainage works at Lal Chowk and Indra Nagar and also those of works pending for some time now.

The meeting also reviewed fund utility of various projects taken up for discussion on the occasion.

Superintending Engineers R&B, PDD and UEED, General Manager JKPCC, Executive Engineer I&FC among other concerned officers attended the meeting.
