Comm Secy Forest inspects FPF HQ building

SRINAGAR, JULY 07: Commissioner Secretary to Government, Forest, Environment & Ecology department, Saurabh Bhagat along with Director FPF J&K, Joint Director FPF Kashmir and officials of J&K Project Construction Corporation (JKPCC) inspected the newly constructed FPF HQ Building situated at Bemina Bye-Pass, Srinagar.

The offices said the Director FPF and Joint Director FPF Kashmir have been functioning from rented accommodation till date as they did not have their own HQ office building at Srinagar.

The Commissioners/ Secretary impressed upon JKPCC officials to clear dumped material on the ground in front of the office building and asked them to carry out leveling of the ground around the office building besides constructing approach road to the office building from the National Highway side. The JKPCC officials were directed to complete the pending works within ten days time.

The JKPCC officials were asked to hand over the temporary structures constructed by them behind the office building to FPF department for accommodation of FPF personnel on security duty.

The Commissioners/ Secretary expressed satisfaction over the quality of work. He desired to have a meeting with Director FPF J&K and MD (JKPCC) for compound walling of the building and other related works.
