Srinagar: To pay homage to Constable Javaid Ahmad Dar who was kidnapped and martyred by militants, a wreath laying ceremony was held at District Police Lines Shopian.
SSP Shopian Sandeep Choudhary led the Police officers and jawans in laying the floral tributes on the mortal remains of the martyr, a police spokesman said.
Among others, ASP Shopian Arif Amin Shah, DySP DAR Nisar Khan, DySP Hqr Ashiq Hussain Tak and other officers and Jawans paid floral tributes on the mortal remains of the martyr.
Last evening Ct Javaid Ahmad Dar son of Abdul Hamid Dar Belt No 844/Gbl resident of Vehil Chatwatan was abducted by and killed.
