Srinagar: Joint Resistance leadership comprising Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Mohammad Yasin Malik has called for a complete shutdown on Saturday against the NIA detention of Aasiya Andrabi and her two associates, Fehmeeda Sofi and Nahida Nasreen.
“Leaders condemned the action of NIA and termed it the worst form of political vengeance and vendetta against the resistance leadership,” the statement said.
JRL made a fervent appeal to the nation to observe complete shutdown and maintain civil curfew on 7 July 2018 against the shifting of Asia Andrabi and her associates to Delhi by the NIA.
