Police seeks help to trace unidentified male body

Srinagar: Srinagar police has sought help of general public in identifying an unidentified male body recovered from Nallah Hokarsar.

A police statement said that Srinagar police received information that an unidentified male body, aged about 30 years, was fished out by the inhabitants of Hajibagh & Zainakote from nallah Hokarsar.

After receiving the information, the body was taken in possession by police & taken to PCR Hospital for conducting autopsy and other legal formalities. Proceedings under section 174 CrPC has been initiated in this regard, said the statement.

“Anybody having any information regarding the identity of the deceased may kindly inform Police Station Parimpora on 9596770558, 9596770883, PCR Srinagar on 9596222550, 9596222551 or Police Control Room Kashmir on 100,” added the statement.
