Srinagar, Jul 03: A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) man on Tuesday foiled a weapon snatching bid by three persons in Humhama area near the Srinagar airport in central Kashmir’s Budgam district, said an official.
He said that three persons tried to snatch weapon of a constable of B/35Bn CRPF at Humhama chowk by throwing chilli powder at him.
The “alert” sentry, according to the official, foiled the bid. He said the attackers managed to flee from the spot.
