Srinagar, Jul 03: Congress party held a high-level meeting here today to discuss the emerging political situation in the state.

Besides the AICC general secretary in-charge J&K, Ambika Soni, Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha  Ghulam Nabi Azad and former Union minister Prof. Saifuddin Soz, senior party leaders of Jammu and Kashmir including legislators, ex-legislators and other were present in the meeting which was presided over by JKPCC president G.A. Mir, a party press release said.

It said the marathon meeting, which lasted over eight hours, deliberated on the current political scenario in the state.

The former PDP-BJP government was “utter failure on all fronts, and neither BJP nor PDP could escape the responsibility of bringing all-round miseries to the people due to their opportunist and wrong policies,” the press release said.

It said the party would launch a “vigorous campaign to expose the BJP and PDP, especially BJP, which is ruling at the Centre also for their total failures on all fronts.”
