The meeting was attended by all state, provincial leaders, district presidents and zonal presidents.

The statement said that the main agenda of the meeting was implementation of seventh pay commission in favour of SSA teachers, head teachers and RMSA masters, delinking of their salaries from MHRD to state sector, maintaining of discipline in the organization and alarming flood situation in the valley.

Wani while addressing the gathering assured that Teachers Forum will leave no stone unturned to solve these issues at an earliest. Wani said that Governor Administration is seriously looking into the matter and have shown positive approach in resolving the issue, but the process of resolving the matter is very slow which  creates chaos and confusion among the teaching fraternity.

Wani ordered to close all WhatsApp groups in the name of JKTF and instructed that new such groups should be framed from Zonal level to state level after proper permission of the committee.

Wani said that there are apprehensions of flood in the valley and directed all the cadres of JKTF to be ready to face any kind of untoward situation due to floods so that we could help our people in such situations.
