Srinagar, Jul 01: Authorities on Sunday ordered the closure of all government and private schools in district Srinagar tomorrow (Monday).
According to an order issued by the office of Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, all the schools, both government and private, shall remain closed in view of the flood alert in Srinagar district tomorrow (Monday).
Meanwhile, the Directorate of Education, Kashmir clarified that apart from Srinagar District, all the papers of T1 examination scheduled to be held across Kashmir Division will be held tomorrow as per schedule while as new dates for District Srinagar will be announced separately.
It also clarified that summer vacations in schools of Kashmir Division and winter zone of Jammu Division stand deferred as already notified.
