Star C C Humhama beats Odo Spartans; qualify for quarter-final

Sopore: In the ongoing Wular Primer League -2018, it was Odo Spartans versus Star C C Humhama in the first pre-quarter final on Thursday.

After winning the toss, Humhama opted to bat first and posted 153 runs on board.

Zahid Dar played a magnificent knock of 53 runs, while as Riyaz Pal contributed 23 runs to the total.

For Odo Spartans, Sharukh Dar, Faizan and Zahoor Sofi took 2 wickets each.

In reply, Odo Spartans failed to chase down the target and were bundled out on paltry 89 runs; thereby losing the match by 64 runs. Khalid and Osaid were the highest scorers for their team who made 35 and 23 runs respectively.

Meanwhile, Star Humhama qualified for quarter-final of WPL-2018

For star Humhama, Nazir Tiger took 3 wickets, whiles as Zahid Dar bagged 2 wickets.

Zahid Dar was declared Man of the Match for his brilliant all-round performance.
