SRINAGAR, JUNE26: Secretary Regional Red Cross (RRC) Branch Kashmir, M R Mattoo today convened a meeting on International Day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking.
The meeting was informed about the ill effects of drug abuse and illicit trafficking which has caused a great damage to the society and needs to be stopped. It was said if not taken care could result in a huge disaster especially among youth and will badly affect the society.
Secretary appreciated the views of the organizers and stressed upon wide publicity of the ill effects of drug abuse and illicit trafficking and asked for eradication of its roots from the society.
He appealed youth to stop use of such drugs and consult the medical authorities for cure and save themselves from destroying their lives.
