BANDIPORA, JUNE 23: District Development Commissioner Bandipora, Khursheed Ahmad Sania, today convened a meeting here today to discuss various issues regarding the creation of fish ladder in Madhumati Nallah.
The DDC on the occasion said that necessary steps should be taken for provision of fish migration to the breeding ground along the Nallah where no such provision has been kept during the development of Madhumati Nallah.
The DDC asked officers that effective measures need to be taken for the safeguard of livestock in the Nallah comprising of snow trout (shizothorax) and brown trout fish.
Assistant Director Fisheries, Executive Engineer I&FC besides Police Officers were present in the meeting.
