Yasin Malik arrested
“Oppressive measures cannot deter us from sacred struggle”
Srinagar: Chairman JKLF Muhammad Yasin Malik was arrested by police early today.
A JKLF spokesman in a statement said that a large contingent of police cordoned his residence in the wee hours of morning toady and arrested him.
“He was immediately shifted to Kothi Bagh police station,” the spokesman said.
While strongly condemning the arrest of, JKLF spokesman has said that to halt peaceful protest, arresting Yasin Shaib and placing other leaders under house arrest has become the loving hobby of police and authorities. He said that imposing restrictions to suppress people’s voices is no democracy but worst kind of dictatorship which Indian rulers are practicing under the grab of so-called biggest democracy.
