Srinagar: Separatists comprising Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwiaz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik today strongly condemned the killing of two youth in South Kashmir within a span of just 24 hours by the ‘trigger-happy forces’.
In a statement, the leadership said that “the trigger-happy forces without showing any respect for Eid martyred a youth in Anantnag just a day after killing of another boy by the Army at Pulwama.”
“The JRL said that forces have started the genocide of Kashmiri youth after a break of one month. The leadership while condemning the killings urged people to offer funeral in absentia for the slain youth after Asar prayers across Kashmir and to register their protest against the brutal killings,” the statement added.
