Sopore, Jun 12: A under-tail escaped from Police Station in north Kashmir’s Sopore town on Tuesday.
An official said that one Abdul Majeed Mir, 24, a resident of Tujjer Shareef area of Sopore town, who was under custody in police station Sopore, under a case FIR no. 50 U/S 13 ULA has escaped from the police station.
He said police has launched searches to nab the culprit. Mir was arrested in 2016 in a militancy-related case.
