Srinagar, Jun 12: Government forces today claimed to have detected and destroyed an IED in the Awantipora area of Pulwama district.
A foot patrol of government forces detected an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) planted by militants at Kanjinag this morning, a police official said.
A bomb disposal squad was summoned to the spot and the IED destroyed, he added.
