Auto collides with electric pole in Budgam, 3 injured

Budgam, June 12: Three persons were injured when an auto load carrier collided with an electrical pole here in the township on Tuesday.

The injured trio was shifted to Budgam district hospital where from one among them was referred to Bone & Joint Hospital Srinagar for advanced treatment.

An eyewitness said that a three-wheeler coming from Ichkoot village met with an accident, resulting in injuries to three travelers.

He said that following the accident, two persons were taken out of vehicle quickly, but one got stuck inside. “We rescued him only after cutting the body of auto,” eyewitness added.

Hospital officials identified the injured as Mohammad Ayoub, Firdous Ahmad and Saleem, all residents of Ichkoot.
