Mahayan-XI thrashes Palhallan Ghat by 132 runs

Pattan, June 09: In the ongoing 40 overs tournament organized by JKCA, Mahayan-XI defeated Palhallan Ghat by 132 runs here at Burran Pattan.

Batting first, Mahayan-XI posted 207 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in allotted 35 overs. Naveed (55), Irfan (38), Wasim (28), Tanveer (23), Farhat (20), remained the top scorers for Mahayan-XI.

In reply, Mahayan-XI bowling attack spearheaded by youngsters Nasir and Irfan bowled with accuracy, conceding only 30 runs in 9 overs. Palhallan Ghat was bundled out for mere 75 runs in 21.3 overs. For Mahayan-XI; Nasir, Irfan, Tanveer, Suhail and Imran picked up 2 wickets each.
