Bimla Luthra lashes out at BJP for hollow promises, zero performance

JAMMU JUNE 09- Urging women to take lead in fight against exploitative politics of the PDP-BJP government, National Conference Women Wing State Vice President Bimla Luthra on Saturday said the price rise, as also erratic power and drinking water supply has hit the housewives the most.

Addressing party workers at a function held at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhavan here this afternoon, Luthra said hollow promises and zero performance has been the hallmark of PDP-BJP combination. She particularly blamed the BJP for letting down people, saying instead of solving their problems the party was indulging in petty politics of dividing various segments of society.

The former MLA said the people of Jammu and Kashmir will give a befitting reply to the insensitive coalition that has failed on all fronts. She said National Conference is the only alternative to steer out the state from the mess created by the PDP-BJP due, which she termed as a coalition of opportunism.
