Thousands hold march to mark Quds day in Budgam

Budgam: Demanding end to Israeli occupation, thousands of people took out a massive Quds day procession here in the township on Friday.

After weekly congregational prayers, a large number of protesters came out of Imam Bargah and held demonstrations against Israel. They were joined by thousands others in the way towards main chowk.

Carrying anti-Israel anti-US and pro-freedom placards, people resorted to massive sloganeering against tormentors of Palestine.

A group of protesters told ‘Kashmir Images’, “Palestine belongs to every Muslim and it is our duty to raise voice against terrorist Israel.”

Protests were also held in Magam, Parisabad, Sonapah, Khomeini Chowk Bemina and other areas of Budgam district.
