Srinagar: President EJAC and Chairman Teachers Forum Ab Qayoom Wani has strongly condemned the ‘illogical and unjustified’ decision of SPD SSA in which SSA Salary for the month of April has been released as per 6th Pay Commission.
In a statement issued here, Wani said that this unfortunate decision speaks the volumes of double standard of the Govt. towards its own employees.
Wani said that debarring a regular employee from any legal benefit is highest kind of violation of civil services rules which will be fought tooth and nail by teaching community.
Wani urged upon all CEOs not to release salary of SSA teachers and head teachers as per 6th pay commission until and unless the issue is resolved and formal orders for linking of salaries with State sector is not issued.
