Shia Muslims in Budgam commemorates birth anniversary of Imam Hassan

Budgam, May 31: The birth anniversary of Imam Hassan (AS) was commemorated with religious fervour in Budgam on Thursday.

On this occasion, a daylong ceremony was held here at central Imam Bargah.

Different speakers highlighted the role of Imam Hassan (AS), the second Shia Imam, who was born on this day in 624 CE in Madinah.

While concluding the function on Thursday, President Anjuman Sharie Shian, Aga Syed Hassan urged people to follow Imam Hassan (AS) in letter and spirit.

He added that the teachings of Imam are the panacea to all problems that the Muslims all over the world are facing.
