Rouf’s 141 knock lead Patwaw to 56-run win over Rising Stars Bemina

Budgam: Hitting 20 sixes and four fours, all-rounder Rouf-ul-Hassan stunned his opponents when he played a splendid knock of 141 in just 42 balls.

Opted to bat first, three wickets of Patwaw fell in quick succession. But sensational batting by Rouf and Imtiyaz help their team to post a total of 237-3 in allotted 15 overs.

While chasing the target, Aijaz’s unbeaten 27-ball 64 could not prove beneficial for his team. He smashed five sixes and seven fours. While Dilawar made 38 of 19 balls. Bemina could only score 181-4.

Earlier, besides Rouf, Imtiyaz scored 20-ball 70 while hitting seven sixes and six fours. Both the batsmen remained unbeaten after a 57-ball 195 partnership. While in bowling Yaseen picked three wickets and Rouf took one.

Rouf was the first player who made a century in the ongoing Ramzan cricket tournament being played at Kakinmaran in Budgam on Thursday.
