SRINAGAR, MAY 31: Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Rohit Kansal today took stock of the arrangements for the Iftaar to be hosted by the Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti.
Officers and officials from the General Administration Department, Chief Minister’s Secretariat, Hospitality & Protocol, SKICC, Information, Divisional Administration, Power Development Department, Police and other concerned Departments were present at the meeting.
Kansal called for effective coordination among various departments to ensure hassle-free arrangements for the guests attending the Iftaar. He also called for effective traffic regulation in and around SKICC for the Iftaar.
Kansal also called for making alternate arrangements in case of inclement weather conditions. He also called for deployment of Nodal Officers by GAD to manage the large number of guests expected to join the Iftaar.
