Srinagar, May 28: Police Awantipora hosted an Iftar feast at Police Station Khrew which was attended by local residents of Khrew area.
A police spokesman said that the Iftar feast was also attended by SSP Awantipora Muhammad Zahid Malik, Commanding Officer 50RR COL Samar Ragav, SDPO Awantipora Perwaiz Ahmad and other officers.
Meanwhile, Police Post Qamarwari also organized an Iftar feast for the youth who were earlier involved in stone pelting cases.
A police statement said that Police’s endeavour is to get misguided youth back to mainstream so that they will live their lives in a dignified way and help for the good of the society.
A counselling session was also conducted where inspirational speeches were delivered to the youth.
