Srinagar: Jammu Kashmir Liberation front (JKLF) has expressed his heartfelt grief and sorrow over the demise of veteran social and religious personality Professor Muhammad Shafi of Dargah Hazratbal Srinagar who breathed his last yesterday.

Recalling his religious, social and human services, JKLF chairman, in a statement issued here said that Professor Shafi was a humble person whose love and care will be always remembered.

JKLF chairman said that he and his friends cherished Professor Muhammad Shafi’s company.

“We pray for his elevation in Jannah and also for Sabr-I-Jamil to his bereaved family,” Malik said, terming the demise as a personal loss.

JKLF chairman along with a delegation today visited the bereaved family and expressed solidarity with them.
