SRINAGAR, MAY 26: A cultural seminar titled `PAVITRATA’ (Pakeezgi) was organised by Wadie’s Hindi Shiksha Samiti a Non Government Organisation, at the seminar hall of Jammu Kashmir Academy of Art Culture and Languages (JKAACL).

Eminent poets of the valley participated in the function that also included a poetry recitation session. Various poets presented their works in different languages.

Poet Shafi Mohammad Mir presented his work in Hindi, Showkat Shahbaz in Urdu, Rehana Kounsar and Sagar Nazir in Kashmiri, Abdul Rauf Qureshi and Altaf Nizami in Pahadi , Gurnam Singh Arsi and Surinder Singh Sodi in Punjabi, A G Arif and Bashir Ahmad Bashir in Gojri, Sheikh Mushtaq Hijaz and Fareed Aijaz in Sheena, Kachoo lsfandyar Ali Khan and Raza Saqi in Balti.

The poets were later felicitated with a shawl, a trophy and a certificate.
