Baramulla, May 26: Army on Saturday claimed to have killed five unidentified militants by foiling an infiltration bid along the Line of Control in Tangdhar sector of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
“Five militants were killed while attempting to infiltrate to this side on LoC from Pakistan early morning today, “a defence spokesperson said.
Search operation is underway to check if there are any other militants hiding in the area, Srinagar-based defence spokesperson Colonel Rajesh Kalia said.
