Srinagar, May 25: Tehreek-ul-Mujahideen (TeM) has claimed responsibly of the grenade attacks on a CRPF camp at Safakadal area of Srinagar city and a government forces party at Jammu Bus Stand on Thursday evening.

It also claimed that several forces personnel were “killed or injured” and many of their vehicles were damaged in the Srinagar attack.

TeM spokesperson in a statement issued to GNS said its men lobbed hand grenades at the CRPF camp at Braripora Safakadal.

He said forces in revenge harassed the people and damaged public properties.

The hand grenades were also lobbed at forces’ vehicle near Jammu Bus Stand in which “at least three personnel got injured and the vehicle was destroyed”, he added.

TeM spokesperson said India under the garb of ceasefire “drama” is intensifying “atrocities” on people in the holy month of Ramadhan.

“India has always brought in more armed forces whenever it claimed of demilitarisation. These forces are hell bent on ethnic cleansing in Kashmir,” the TeM spokesperson said adding that New Delhi’s announcement of Ramadhan ceasefire is nothing but a “drama”.
