SRINAGAR, MAY 23: The written examination of the candidates for the post of Sub Inspector in J&K Police will be conducted on June 24, 2018 (Sunday) at Srinagar and Jammu.

Chairman Police Recruitment Board (SIs), has informed that the written examination of the candidates, who have qualified Physical Endurance Test/Physical Standard Test (PET/PST) for the post of Sub Inspector in J&K Police under Transparent Recruitment Process (TRP), will be conducted on June 24, 2018 (Sunday) at Srinagar and Jammu.

The test for the posts in Armed, Executive police will start at 11 a.m and for police Telecommunication, the test will start from 3 p.m. Candidates have been informed to report at the venue two hours before the test starts.

The written examination for the candidates of Jammu province including the candidates from District Leh and Kargil, who have opted for written examination at  Jammu, will be held in Jammu and that of Kashmir province (including Leh & Kargil) at Srinagar. Venue for the examination shall be reflected on the admit cards of eligible candidates, which will be available on J&K Police website www.jkpolice.gov.in from June 01, 2018.

The Chairman has further informed that the examination will  consist of multiple choice/ objective type questions. Question paper will have 120 questions in respect of the candidates appearing for the post in Armed, Executive police and 100 questions for the candidates appearing for the post in Police Telecommunication Wing.

Candidates have been advised to bring along their admit cards and valid ID proof and report at the examination centres as per the time mentioned in their admit cards as well as in the instructions being uploaded on the police website.
