PCPG meeting held at Police Station Lalbazar
Srinagar, May 21: Police-community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting was held at police station Lalbazar today with an aim to strengthen relations with public and also to establish first hand contact with masses.
A police spokesman in a statement said that Police station Lalbazar convened the public interaction meeting in which good number of respectable citizens of Umar Colony Lalbazar area participated.
The meeting was chaired by SHO Police Station Lalbazar Inspector G P Singh. The participants highlighted various issues of public importance like eradicating menace of drug addiction and some issues related to civil administration.
SHO Lalbazar stressed upon participants to keep watch on the activities of their young wards so that they don’t indulge in stone pelting and other related anti-national and antisocial activities.
Referring to the issues highlighted by the participants SHO assured them that issues pertaining to police will be solved in shortest possible time and the rest will be taken up with the civil administration for their redressal on priority.
