Sopore : A 9-year-old boy, was seriously injured after paramilitary CRPF allegedly opened rubber bullets upon a group of protesters at Arampora area of Sopore in North Kashmir Baramulla district on late Saturday evening.

Official sources said that CRPF men used tear smoke shells, and fired some rubber bullets after a group of youth pelted their vehicle with stones near Arampora of the town .

In the incident, one rubber bullets left critically injured Rizwan Ahmad Kaboo (9) son of Reyaz Ahmad Kaboo of Arampora Sopore sustained head injuries who was immediately taken to sub-district hospital Sopore for advanced treatment.

Doctors at Sub District Hospital Sopore told Kashmir Images that boy were shifted to SKIMS Soura because bullet has hit his head and and case was critical and we can not operate here

Meanwhile, police have registered the case and start investigation how this happened.

SSP Sopore Javid Iqbal, told Kashmir Images boy receive rubber bullet after they attack forces vehicle at Arampora. Boy has been shifted to hospital for treatment where his condition is stable.
