People in Budgam take out rally in support of Gazans

Budgam: Demanding an end to Israeli occupation of Palestine, hundreds of protesters here on Friday denounced the killing of 62 Palestinians by Israeli forces along the besieged Gaza fence.

Holding placards that read “Death to America, Death to Israel”, protesters carried out a march from Imam Bargah to main Chowk Budgam.

While addressing the gathering, Hurriyat leader and president Anjuman Sharie Shian, Aga Syed Hassan urged upon Muslim nations to unite and act against Israel.

He added that 57-member Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) should take lead in resolving Palestinian issue.

Demonstrators also condemned the US move of shifting its embassy to Jerusalem.
