JKLF activists stage protest al Lal Chowk

Srinagar: Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) while condemning the carnage by Israeli army in Palestine recently, staged a peaceful protest rally at Lal Chowk to express solidarity with Palestinian people.

In a statement issued here today, a JKLF spokesman said, “On Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) call, JKLF leaders and activists staged protest that was led by vice chairman advocate Bashir Ahmad Butt.”

The activists gathered at Madeena Chowk and marched towards Lal Chowk and staged a peaceful sit-in there. This sit-in was addressed by many people including Advocte Bashir Ahmad Butt, the spokesman said.

Meanwhile, JKLF chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik who has been detained by Pakistan has condemned the slaughter of Palestinians.

“Instead of resolving the long pending disputes like Palestine and Kashmir, international community has chosen to prolong and complicate these issues which confront billions of humans across the globe,” the spokesman quoted Malik as saying.
