Tangmarg: Wu-Shu Association Baramulla organized a district Wu-shu competition at Tangmarg in which nearly 250 players from all the divisions of Baramulla district participated.
On this occasion, SDM Tangmarg termed the game as a measure of safety for the girls.
He urged upon the parents to encourage their wards for participating in this game.
People who were present at the occasion hailed the efforts of Ms. Jabeena Akhtar General Secretary Wu-shu Association Baramulla and Mr Sajad Athar Wani President Wu-shu Association Baramulla for their efforts.
Army Good Will School Ziran was declared the winner of the championship, Whereas Shahi Hamedaan academy Sopore and Alnoor Model High School Dhobiwan Tangmarg were declared runner up and 2nd runner up respectively.
Meanwhile, the participants were facilitated with awards.
