Minor sisters reunited with family: Police
Srinagar, May 17: Hours after seeking public help, two minor sisters were reunited with their families, police said on Thursday.
A police spokesman informed that two minor sisters, who were found roaming by some locals in Bemina area were brought to the local police post.
Police initiated the efforts to trace their families and circulated the photographs of the minor sisters in the media and social networking websites, spokesman said.
“Within an hour, residential particulars of the minors were traced with the active support of the general public and both the sisters were reunited with their family,” spokesman informed, adding that they were handed over to their father at police post Bemina in presence of witnesses.
